Customizing 'featured products' on the home page and removing the "This week's specials" text

Can I customize the products listing on home page?
The products appear in alphabetical order, can I set it differently?
Can I remove the "This week's specials" text?
Answer
The items featuring on the home page are controlled by editing the product record for each item. Find the product in question in the back end, select zero in the 'featured items' dropdown menu, and the item will no longer feature.
Ordering of these items is controlled by the number selected in the 'featured items' menu. If two have the same number, the product ID determines which comes first.
To remove the "This week's specials" text, go to the back end, and find the 'language strings' link. Click the language you wish to edit. In the search box enter part of the text you wish to replace, e.g. "This week". The system will find the language strings that contain this. Letter "f" means a front end string, "b" is a back end one. You can edit the text, submit it and the text will be updated. To remove the text, replace it with a space.
