I get an error on the payonline.asp page:

Exception occurred.

/payonline.asp, line 72

Why is this and how do I fix it?

Answer

This problem is to do with downloadable shipping. The tblCactuShopShippingMethods table must have a record that represents a 'no shipping required' option for downloadable products. This special record also has the 'automethod' field set to 'y'. This is because this method is not chosen by the user, but instead is automatically selected if the items chosen are downloadable.

Your store must have this record even if you don't currently have any downloadable items.

After upgrading, this shipping method may not have been copied across, especially if it was removed or not present on the previous database.
