Question

My CactuShop doesn't seem to send email. I have it setup to run with ASPMail, which is definitely installed and running correctly. It just doesn't seem to work with CactuShop.

Answer

This is a problem in CactuShop v4.007 and earlier. It is because the server is case sensitive and our config page advises (incorrectly) the setting for ASPMail as 'ASPmail'. The email function finds no match for this and hence sends no mail.

The function has since been modified and is not case sensitive on versions of CactuShop after v4.007. If you are affected, you can easily resolve the problem by setting your emailmethod to 'ASPMail' rather than 'ASPmail'.
