Question

Where can I find more information on how to setup Cactushop using SSL if my secure area is on a separate server (for example, shared SSL)?

Answer

The Cactusoft Encrypted Mail package includes a system called 'CactusPay' which supports shared secure areas.

The secure area then essentially runs like a payment gateway. The main CactuShop site stores the order details then routes users of to the secure area. When the details are entered, these are securely emailed to the store owner and the secure area makes a callback to the main site, informing it that payment was made.
