I have been informed that Protx is changing to SagePay. How does this affect my store? Will I need to change anything?
SagePay has stated that it will continue support for the existing payment URLs for 6 months following the switch from Protx to SagePay on 21sth April 2009. This should mean that transactions should continue to work beyond this date as before, without any setting changes to CactuShop.
It would be advisable to change over to the new SagePay payment URLs soon after the switch.
You can make the change to the PROTX_URL config setting in your CactuShop back end.

For VSP Direct:
TEST: https://test.sagepay.com/gateway/service/vspdirect-register.vsp

If you change to the new URLs and experience any ill-effects, first ensure that you have no leading or trailing spaces in the setting.
If you have verified the URL is correct we'd recommend restoring the old Protx URLs immediately and following up with Protx support.
