Protx test area declines all cards

Question

I have implemented the changes required for the new Protx system. But when I run a test transaction, it seems the card is declined every time. What is up with CactuShop?

Answer

The Protx test environment no longer accepts real credit and debit cards following their system upgrade in August 2007. Instead, you must use specified dummy card details for test transactions. Any real cards will be declined by Protx's test server.

Please see Protx's documentation for details of dummy card details that will be accepted by the test system and result in successful orders.
