Setting up special deals

Is there any facility in Cactusoft to be able to create deal items; e.g. 'Buy 2 get 1 free' or 'spend over a certain amount and no postage to pay' etc?
Answer
For the Buy-2-get-1-free type deals, this isn't directly supported in CactuShop. To get something like this set up, you could just add a version of the product which is a 3-pack, and price it at only the double the price. Then you could set the strap line to advertise the offer.
For the no postage - this can be set up in the shipping methods in the backend (if you've got shipping set up to calculate based on value, not weight). Over a certain threshold and you can set the shipping cost to 0.
To advertise these deals, you can set the products to display on the front-end, and use the News to advertise the shipping deals.
