Question

The dropdown menus in the new v6.1 back end seem to appear behind text input boxes. What's up?

Answer

The new menu system is pure CSS and requires a standards-compliant browser to use the back end. If you are using an older version of Internet Explorer (6 or earlier) then you should upgrade. IE7 offers a number of interface improvements as well as security enhancements and is available for free from Microsoft.

The back end will work fine with Firefox, Opera and Safari (including some of the more recent prior versions).
